Tiarasa Escapes Glamping Resort won 2 top awards at the 11th Malaysia Landscape Architect Awards held on 20th April 2019 at the New World Hotel, namely the Landscape Design Award (Excellence) in the professional category as well as Project of The Year Award.
The brainchild of Enfiniti (M) Sdn Bhd and designed by WHZED Sdn Bhd, Tiarasa Escapes is lauded as Malaysia’s first premium glamping resort. Nestled in the cool foothills of Genting Highlands, Tiarasa Escapes offers guests the option of stylishly designed luxury safari-styled tented villas or breezy treetop villas with spacious wraparound verandahs, sprawled over 7 acres of beautiful landscape that’s the perfect symbiosis of a natural rainforest and clever design.
Tiara Jacquelina, owner, on the inspiration behind Tiarasa Escapes, “One of my most memorable stays a few years ago was when I stayed in a Berber tent at Sir Richard Branson’s Kasbah Tamadot in Morocco, ticking off “staying in a tent” from my bucket list. Marrakesh sparked an idea which excited the both the wanderlust spirit and the serial entrepreneur in me: I had to bring the luxury tented accommodation experience to Malaysia. So, that was how the idea of Tiarasa Escapes was born.
