Rummaging through Mom’s make-up collection as a kid and playing dress up - it’s part and parcel of being a little girl and I’m sure many of you can relate! I was no exception; I stole away to mom’s vanity at every chance I could get (especially when she was busy tending to my mischievous brothers’ boyhood shenanigans), and would play pretend I was attending glamorous parties and events. It was during one of these make-up play times when I chanced upon something gleaming in gold amidst the mostly black and silver collection of make-up. There it was, right on top of mom’s vanity, gleaming, mom’s treasured lipstick in a glamorous and enviable gold bullet. The moment I saw that shiny shimmery gold, I was in love.
